Diana Andrea Soto Teixeira is a percussionist and vocalist based in Los Angeles, CA. Her work is inspired by Latin American Folklore and music of the African Diaspora. Through drumming and singing she seeks to reconnect with her past and to introduce her audience to new worlds rooted in traditional rhythms. Her father was Andrés Soto, a renown composer in Perú, and his music also influences much of her artistic works.
